My mother and I could not get along for years. My husband wanted us to reunite but I was unable to mend the past problems. Sometimes I felt I hated her. After emailing back and fourth several times with one of your life coaches I was able to understand what I could do to improve our relationship. I finally understood that I had some part in the problems with my mother. I learned that I couldn’t change her but could change how I felt. I hated my biological father. He rejected me at birth and it made me feel less important than my stepsisters. I was raised by my adopted dad since birth. I thought for many years that he didn’t want me. I was afraid he didn’t ever want me so I stayed away. One of my dreams is to see my biological father and feel wanted. Coach of Life helped me get the strength to go after my dream. I have not made contact with him yet but I finally have the courage. She helped me see that I can do it and even if he doesn’t want to see me it is still ok. I have made a good life for myself and I feel I don’t need his approval anymore…
